About Shauna

Peace and blessings everyone! Meditation and healing has been a passion of mine since I was in my early 20s and over the years I have purchased many different courses and books to improve my skills as well as development.

I would spend hours cooped up in a room, writing down important points from different platforms and piece together something that worked for me and the anxiety I had felt since I was a teenager.

Now is my opportunity to give back. To help your life journey, through meditation and healing.

a story of my path to meditation and healing

I was an esthetician, medical esthetician and relaxation massage therapist for 13 years before changing into a career as a medical administrative assistant. I recently left my job because I didn’t feel it was what I was ‘supposed to be doing’. Now I want to concentrate on what I feel is my life purpose; to help heal people by sharing the knowledge and skills I have learned.

Having a background in the spa industry, I’ve always been interested in holistic therapies. I enjoy making people feel at peace and relaxed in the midst of their hectic and busy lives. I realize the importance of having that time to yourself to heal and rejuvenate; it’s like pushing a ‘reset button’.

self-help is on the rise

Like I mentioned earlier, I have anxiety and it can come with debilitating physical and emotional symptoms, but I’m not alone. Unfortunately, anxiety is the most common form of mental illness affecting 10% of teens and over 40% of adults.

Because of the stigma of having a mental illness, more and more people are veering more towards self-help, personal development and alternative therapies to help with their symptoms.

I wanted to find a more holistic outlet to ease the stress of anxiety. That’s how I found my passion in meditation and healing.

fall in love with taking care of yourself. mind, body, spirit.

I created what I call a ‘sacred space’ in my home. It’s my comfortable and quiet spot that I turn to whenever I start to feel the stress of daily life. I wish everyone could have a sacred space in their own home to find comfort; it can be an extra bedroom, den, a corner of a room or even the bathtub. It will quickly turn into your new favorite hangout.

I’ll introduce you to different resources to create your own sacred space that can help you heal your mind, body and spirit.

If you ever need a hand or have any questions, feel free to leave them below and I will be more than happy to help you out.

Namaste,

Shauna
